Excuse me, princess. Link is coming back in a brand new cartoon, one that promises to show off the star "in a new and hysterical light." The Legend of Zelda: The Misadventures of Link will debut on the Nintendo Video app for 3DS starting November. It's an "original series of comedic shorts" that are based on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. It's also one of five new series that will be hitting the service from now through 2014.

Pikmin are also joining Nintendo Video

Pikmin Nature Documentaries will also join the service, providing fictional "nature documentaries" that explore the world of Pikmin. With dramatic voiceover work, the series pokes fun at real-life safari shows. Bravest Warriors, the YouTube series from Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward will also make regular appearances on Nintendo Video. New episodes will be available every Friday, giving fans a chance to see the series in 3D. Fellow Cartoon Hangover series Bee and PuppyCat will also be on the service. Finally, the creator of Nintendo Video alum Meat or Die is bringing yet another series to Nintendo Video: Wildheart Riukiu incorporates 16-bit graphics with "not-so-charming, but hilarious, characters." "This latest set of great new shows for Nintendo Video gives fans a unique way to enjoy two of their favorite Nintendo franchises, in addition to hand-picked series from some of the most imaginative and successful creators in the world of animation," Nintendo of America's Tony Elison said in a press release.
