So you've watched Monday's 17-minute gameplay Battrailer and signed up for extra Batskins and you still need more Batthings to tide you over until Batman: Arkham Origins arrives on Friday? Look, here, fine, come watch the launch trailer, then go settle down with Batcocoa and a Batbook.

As one would expect from a launch trailer, it's all snippets of story and oodles of cinematics and men saying that bad things will happen. Look, you got 17 minutes of gameplay on Monday, isn't that enough? It feels like we've seen every custscene in the game, split across ten dozen trailers.

Arkham Origins hits PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on Friday, accompanied by Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for Nintendo 3DS and Vita.

It looks ugly in general. The tech is there and the game play looks awesome as always but the art and character design isn't appealing.

I felt that way about AA (I haven't finished AC yet). The character designs were awful, with one or two exceptions. I get that Rocksteady was trying to do their own thing that wasn't exactly the comics/cartoons/movies, etc, I just didn't care for them.

But they did get Catwoman's design right in AC, with the exception of her tits hanging out. I kept wanting Batman to lean in and zip her up. But it that design's almost the current Catwoman design, so..

Catwoman letting her tits hang out is true to the character. She's a confident woman who uses her sexuality as bait to lure in dumb guys. Then she whoops all over em.

I loved the character design in AA. Bold and detailed.

i just watched an HD gameplay video from the leaked 360 version. Alfred really doesn't look THAT bad in-game. Not great, but not as terrible as some of the shots i've seen floating around.

Have they even mentioned X1 or PS4? I have a feeling that the X1/PS4 will get a release in the spring... it has me holding off from buying it for the 360.

Man, I really need to finish Arkham City first... Really dig the game but I haven't played in a while. Game backlog is just too damn high!

So the game starts with a helicopter in the snow and a good guy sneaking in. Is this Metal Gear Solid? :)
