Beenox, Activision's go-to developer of Spider-Man games, is working on a tie-in game for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Coming spring 2014, alongside the film, the sequel promises to offer "more abilities, more upgrades, more of everything" than the first game offered. Speaking at New York Comic Con, executive producer Stephane Gravel promised that "we're not retelling the story from the movie. We're telling our own unique side-story," one that will include characters from the first game and "new classic characters from the Marvel universe."

"We're expanding our Manhattan by adding more content and more challenges," Gravel said.

Morality will play a role in the new Spider-Man game. "If you play like Uncle Ben taught you, you'll be rewarded... if you don't, you'll have a harder time playing," Gravel added. In addition, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will also give you the ability to play as Peter Parker, using his journalistic skills to progress the story forward.

The last one was decent. Beenox, except for Edge of Time, has done alright by Spider-man.

Yep, the most recent one based on the newest movie was really surprisingly enjoyable. Very well done.

I also like their Shattered Dimensions game - that was pretty nifty, too. :)

well about beenox, its starting to feel repetitive with them making spidey games(not to be skeptical here).the story of the prequel was lame because boring villains like smythe and the cross-species were not very satisfying as expected, and peter parker wasn't shown entirely due to no reason(it was first person like COD series).the gameplay was too easy that i finished this game in 2 days, man.i hope beenox knows how to make a great game with better story and level design.the sequel better pay off!
