Quick CounterStrike poll people, since i'm a forum moderator.
1. Who hates the Escape scenario? (I expect universal yes :)
2. Who would play Escape if:
- Only one Terrorist had to escape
- Teams only swapped when the Terrorists escaped
Escape would become a frantic glock dash, and a CT scramble to murder the T's so they can remain as CT :-)
Cheers,
Raziel

In it, he said that he underestimated peoples willingness to be underdogs. That is what he said about the es_ gametype being a mistake.
These two modes need to be removed, or need to get some good maps and better weapon tweaking for them...

heh
if yours dies it's not over though, you'd be able to take out their 'vip' too...
you wouldn't be able to camp, and you'd have to find a way to split up your team to help vip or kill enemies...
Anyone played the normandy map?.... it can actually be a lot of fun, even though it is unbalanced, doesn't look that great, is slow on fps and ping....
The idea map.... if it didn't have lag from seeing so many people at one time, would be a big, huge, box...

Also, the maps don't necessarily need to have looks, but the flow and such. 2fort4 is probably the map with the best gameplay I've ever seen btw.
I'm sure about the exact solution, but I think CS needs some help in the map department. Yes, I'm mapping, but I don't have a LOT of time, and mapping can take a lot of time when you don't have the exact idea of what you want...

Look at RA3. Only had 8 maps. But it had like 32 arenas right? Well I only play Clan Arena. So for me there are only 8 maps.
And the Quake3 Mission Pack. 12 maps huh? Well I don't play 1vs1 so I only get 8 maps cause 4 of them are tourney maps.

And our driver downloads would be smaller in size, faster, and more stable.
Why? Because you take all your employees and split them up into 2 groups so 1 group can work on D3D and the other on OpenGL.

with simm's you might have a problem, but the best thing to do is try it
(of course it would be hard to try before you buy with ram)
the problem with them not working together might be the speed of the ram, and there can be problems with not the same amount (bank's need the same amount with older ram, maybe with the 32pin stuff, but i doubt you have that)
You'll have no problem if you have dimms tho....
