We're fast approaching Halloween, but chances are pretty good that you're an adult with stupid responsibilities and can no longer dress up in silly costumes to beg for candy. Double Fine's Costume Quest was a sweet, lighthearted RPG that let you relive the good-old-days. Now you can play it on your iOS device, so you can pretend to trick-or-treat while following around your actual children as they do it for real.

It's now available on the App Store for $4.99. The winter holiday-themed Grubbins on Ice downloadable content is available as an in-app purchase for $1.99

Costume Quest follows a band of kids on Halloween night, as they uncover a fiendish plot and use the powers imbued by their costumes to ward off evil. Or maybe it's just playtime-pretend, because that distinction being unclear is part of the magic of childhood. The concept was part of Double Fine's initial shift to smaller downloadable games, and was well-received by critics and RPG fans alike.

Kind of surprised that the DLC isn't included.....must be an Apple thing.
