A new Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze trailer shows off Dixie Kong's moves, both old and new, which should help ease the pain of its recent delay into February.

Fans hoping to get their hands on Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the holiday were given the cold shoulder when Nintendo delayed the Wii U title to February. To help ease the pain of that frigid news, Nintendo has released a new trailer that prominently displays the returning Dixie Kong. And as you might expect, she does indeed whip her hair back and forth.

Dixie retains her hair helicopter ability and is shown 'coptering Donkey Kong around to reach far-away coins. She also showed the ability to reach distant items herself, displaying a higher jump than DK. Dixie showed off some new moves, too, like the ability to ground pound using her long locks of hair.

To see all of Dixie's moves in action, check out the trailer below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

      Still a fun looking game.

      But it's no old DKC.

      And that music can't compare..
