Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus will be one of the hitting just days before the PlayStation 4 launches, letting you kick back with some old-school action-platforming before the next generation is ushered in. Insomniac announced today that the PS3 title will hit on November 12 for $29.99.
"Some of you have asked us why we made a shorter Ratchet game. The truth is, we relished this ability to tie a bow on the PS3 era of Ratchet with a shorter title," community lead James Stevenson said in a PlayStation Blog post. "All of us love the Ratchet universe – and after 12 years developing the series, it feels like a very close friend. We have a lot of stories to tell, some longer, some shorter. This one felt just right."
Stevenson also noted that pre-orders from some retailers will get the "Pyronox Armor" as a bonus, granting a 5% damage reduction. Amazon pre-orders will also include R&C-themed content for use in PlayStation Home, presumably so you can dance the robot while looking like a robot.
