As of right now, we couldn't have a manned mission to mars anyway. (Acooriding to my brother-in-law, who works at JPL on the mars stuff), if we tried to send a man to mars, after the space craft left the earth's magnetic field, cosmic radiation would cook the astronaut like a piece of meat in a microwave.

I would save up my money, my entire life. I would work so hard, getting small jobs, doing chores for people, playing the stock market, investing in mutual funds, and just picking up pennies off the street. I would do all this so I could one day fullfil me dream, and goto the surface of mars and go poop and smear it on a martian rock.

Does the freezing point of water change based upon air pressure? I know the boiling point changes, but wasn't sure about the freezing point. i.e. the freezing point of 0 might be good on earth, but on mars where there is little atmosphere?

boiling point is alot lower at higher altitudes, lower pressures, that is why your blood would essentially boil if you were in space
