Torn Banner Studios and 345 Games have announced the six classes that will be stabbing, slicing, and decapitating one another in Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior, the upcoming expansion to Chivarly: Medieval Warfare. They've also revealed that the beta will be arriving by the end of this month.

The Knight (a carryover from Medieval Warfare), Viking, Ninja, and Pirate will be joining the Samurai and Spartan, who were first revealed in the initial announcement trailer. All six classes will feature unique stats and their own distinctive brand of weaponry, like throwing knives, shields, and two-handed hammers. Torn Banner and 345 Games both indicated a possibility of expanding the roster, as they noted that they have three seasons' worth of Spike TV's Deadliest Warrior show to work with.

Chivalry: Deadliest Warrior will be priced at $15 and available later this fall on Steam, with early adopters receiving beta access.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
