Namco Bandai has announced Soulcalibur: Lost Swords. And as we suspected, it's a free-to-play game for PS3.

According to the announcement, Lost Souls will be "a free-to-play single player experience and will feature numerous famous fighters including Siegfried and Mitsurugi." More information will be offered at Tokyo Game Show next week.

Namco Bandai has invested heavily in F2P on PS3. In addition to Lost Souls, the company also has Ace Combat Infinity, Ridge Racer: Driftopia, and Tekken Revolution--all free-to-play--for PS3.
