RedShift brings nuclear meltdown to iOS and Android devices

One of the most surprising indie games showcased at the Seattle Indie eXpo at PAX Prime was RedShift.

Described as a "dynamic exploration" game, you're tasked with figuring out a way to stop a nuclear power facility from exploding. You'll have to race against the clock as you navigate a randomly-generated map, trying to find shutdown stations. The game tests your memory, as you try to remember where you've already been--and has you deciding what's the best use of your time. Should you bother looking in that locker for a fire extinguisher? Do you even have time?

The music and atmosphere makes for a tense experience, although how entertaining RedShift will be over repeated plays is a bit unclear. The game is scheduled for release on Android and iOS devices in 2014. Check out a playthrough here:
