The bizarrely named 3DS RPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is coming to North America next year. However, Square Enix recently announced an updated version for Japan called "For the Sequel." So, which version is hitting the States?

The Bravely Default Twitter (via Siliconera) confirmed that the North American release will be based upon the enhanced version--so no fear of double-dips! In addition, the US release will include both English and Japanese audio.

The enhanced "For the Sequel" version includes an auto-battle feature, more story events, more save slots, and the ability to speed up battles and change the random encounter rate.

This is great news. Now, all we need is Dragon Quest VII to come to the US, and we're golden.

Man, I really do hope they release that over here. The DS ports were great.
