This is how you play Fantasia: Music Evolved

The debut trailer for Harmonix's Fantasia: Music Evolved was embarrassing, showing off all of the game's ridiculous gestures and motions--and none of the gameplay. Today's video rectifies that mistake, showing why you'd want to look so silly in the first place.

This interactive version of Fantasia has you stepping into Mickey's shoes as the Sorcerer's Apprentice, able to bring music to life by swinging your arms. Not only is there beatmatching gameplay, but there's also remix opportunities, where you can switch between different versions of the song you're playing, but also create new rhythms and beats entirely.

In addition to the performance mode, there's also an exploration element. By interacting with items in the world, you'll be able to unlock new musical toys and songs. "The Haven," seen in this video, lets you go on a hide-and-seek adventure, play with a tentacled underwater creature, and transform the world from night to day, for example.

Looks like something the kids will enjoy. Though, I'd want to know what kind of music selection it'll have first.
