Chances are, if you're into Borderlands 2, it's mostly for the camaraderie of shooting maniacs and gathering loot with your friends. If you happen to be a big fan of Pandora's lore as well, then Gearbox has you covered with an upcoming short film set to drop this week.

The studio teased the short on Twitter (via GameSpot), and later followed up with another snapshot from it. Glean from those two images what you will.

In a separate account, marketing manager Adam Fletcher noted that this is a separate project from the student film currently in production at San Francisco's Academy of Art University. That film is scheduled to wrap up by the end of this year, while the one Gearbox is currently teasing is due much sooner.
