How InFamous: Second Son will use the DualShock 4

Infamous: Second Son will utilize some of the new DualShock 4 functions and demonstrates some of them in a new behind-the-scenes video.

The Infamous franchise's continuation is about more than telling Delsin Rowe's story. It's about finding new ways to play and Sucker Punch is actively implementing DualShock 4-specific controls into Infamous: Second Son. A new behind-the-scenes video offers some insight as to how some of these new features will work.

The video explains some of the DualShock 4's touch screen controls, showing Delsin grabbing objects, using conduit powers, and performing takedowns with the aid of the touch pad. "We’re using the new DualShock 4 controller for PS4 in some really cool ways to bring players even deeper into Second Son with new gameplay controls and mechanics, making them feel like they’re superhuman themselves," game director Nate Fox says on the PlayStation.Blog.
