While Microsoft revealed exactly what games will be available on Day One of their undated next-gen console, Sony has decided to disclose what games will be available by the end of this year on their console-with-a-date. Odd.
Sony promises 33 games will be available on PlayStation 4 by year's end, with 15 games available at retail on Blu-ray disc, and an additional 18 available as PlayStation Network exclusives.
- Blu-ray Games:
- NBA 2K14
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Skylanders Swap Force
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Battlefield 4
- Madden 25
- FIFA 14
- NBA Live
- Killzone: Shadow Fall
- #DRIVECLUB
- Knack
- Assassins Creed Black Flag
- Watch_Dogs
- Just Dance 2014
- LEGO® Marvel Superheroes
We've bolded games that are PlayStation exclusive in some way--minus any exclusive DLC deals. On the retail front, it appears PS4 has very few exclusives to entice gamers, with all three exclusive games coming from Sony's first-party studios. However, the digital story is quite different.
- PlayStation Network Games:
- Basement Crawl
- Pool Nation Extreme
- Contrast
- Warframe
- Pinball Arcade
- War Thunder
- N++
- Minecraft
- DC Universe Online
- Planetside 2
- Counterspy
- ResoGun
- Flower
- Doki-Doki Universe
- Hohokum
- Tiny Brains
- Super Motherload
- Blacklight Retribution
Anyone notice Flower is coming to PS4? Should be pretty!
