When the developers of Dear Esther announced that they had begun work on Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, the PS4 did not exist. But now that it does, the game is also heading to Sony's console.

The Chinese Room co-directors Dan Pinchbeck and Jessica Curry note on the PlayStation.Blog that Rapture will be "all about the story." Told through a first-person perspective, players take the role of a scientist abandoned during the end of the world. The idea is to explore what remains of the world and discover what happened by interacting with objects, places, and any remaining people.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

I hope there is more of an adventure type game in this one and less of an 'experience' like Dear Esther was.
