Castle of Illusion HD is coming September 3 to PS3, and September 4 to PC and 360, for $14.99. Pre-ordering on PSN will net you the original game with some other goodies.
Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse HD is right around the corner. Sega announced today that the HD remake of the Genesis classic will release September 3 on PlayStation 3, and September 4 on PC and Xbox 360, for $14.99.
The Sega Blog also revealed that pre-ordering through PlayStation Network between August 20 and September 2 will get a download of the original game, along with a dynamic theme and three avatars. The original game will be available immediately, to sate your Mickey Mouse needs until the HD version comes out.
We were suitably impressed by Castle of Illusion HD at E3, and the Genesis title still has a cult following.
