Internet, you have 25 days left to giggle into your hands because, you guys, that beer/bowl/hat/car is made of bacon can you believe it! Come September 10, pork and flesh will become terrifying, as The Chinese Room has confirmed that's when Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will finally launch.

A Machine for Pigs isn't a direct sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent but explores similar things: creeping through awful places, solving puzzles, and trying to avoid awful, awful monsters. This time, the monsters squeal!

Dear Esther developer The Chinese Room has worked on AMFP in collaboration with Amnesia creator Frictional Games, and drafted Dear Esther's composer Jessica Curry to make music too.

It'll cost $19.99, hitting PC and Mac, but a 20% pre-order discount brings it down to $15.99. Desura and GOG have pre-orders up already, and The Usual Places should follow soon.
