Warner Bros and Mattel are teaming up for a Hot Wheels video game, titled World's Best Driver. The racing game will hit PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS on September 17. It will be $39.99 on consoles, and $29.99 on PC and 3DS. That's pretty much every platform (minus Vita).

It has you join "Team Hot Wheels" to compete in various challenges under the driving styles of four teams. Those teams are color-coded: Green for speed, Red for stunts, Blue for precision, and Yellow for jumps. The announcement touts 24 Hot Wheels vehicles racing in four environments, spanning dozens of challenges. World's Best Driver is being developed by Firebrand Games, the developer behind Fast & Furious: Showdown and Nintendo platform ports of some Need for Speed titles.

"Mattel has created some of the biggest and most beloved toy brands in the world, and we are thrilled to work with them on Hot Wheels World's Best Driver," said WBIE sales and operations vice president Kevin Kebodeaux, in the announcement. "Utilizing our extensive worldwide distribution capabilities, we are looking forward to launching this Hot Wheels game, as it complements our approach to offer consumers a wide range of quality games."
