There hasnt been an official announcement but it looks like the Sanity demo from Monolith Productions has been released. You can grab it from Real.com (exclusive there for 1 week, thanks GA-Source) Here are a few screenshots of the game in action to look at, if someone downloads it and plays it let us know what you think eh? Looks pretty neeto, and Psycho Circus kinda renewed my faith in LithTech.

  • The gfx was ok. The gameplay was fairly interesting and I grew tired of it rather soon, especially with the totally wack keyboard control. I prefer it much over right-clicking my way trhough games. There's also a bug in W2k DirectX that causes the RMB (move command) to stick almost all the time, quite annoying.

The POV bugged me to kingdom come as well but I suppose you would get used to it after a while. I didn't tho.

I can't for the life of me understand why Monolith lists "Features the voice of Ice-T as Cain" as one of the good things about this game?? Quite possibly the worst voice-acting done in a long time.

I'll try it out in MP later on when my bro and our friend shows up but so far it only gets a so-so from me. It's different but that doesn't automatically means that it's good...

Just so you know where I'm coming from: I play FPS and racing games (MCM2! Yeah!) primarly but enjoy Diablo II quite a bit. MDK2 and Deus EX are the latest games I'm playing (and liking). Never was much for RTS.
