PSP game BreakQuest: Extra Evolution is getting a native Vita version today. Unlike the original, it will be free-to-play. The Breakout-style game will function like a demo, including 33 balls by default and selling packs of 100, 200, or 500 balls to keep playing. Alternatively, you could purchase an Infinite Ball unlock, or just keep creating extra balls by catching ball parts.

According to a post on the PlayStation.Blog, the Vita version has updated graphics, a new level selection system, and PSN support. It adds one new secret level, and 10 boss levels. Beating the bosses grants you new shuttles, which give you powers like guns, sticky bumpers, rockets, and so on.
