Sweet Fuse is a dating game starring Keiji Inafune's fictional niece

A little inside baseball: sometimes one skim-reads a press release and passes it over, then it comes back round again and you think "Wait what a dating game about Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's fictional niece trying to find love while escaping the clutches of a megalomaniacal pig who's taken over Keiji's amusement park WHAT?" So yes, Sweet Fuse: At Your Side will hit PSP on August 27.

The release date was announced last week but, fool that I am, I let it pass me by because I hadn't noticed it was a dating game about Keiji Inafune's fictional niece trying to find love while escaping the clutches of a megalomaniacal pig who's taken over Keiji's amusement park. Which it is.

Sweet Fuse is a Japanese 'otome' game, developed by Idea Factory's Otomate Studio and published by Aksys Games, and really is about Keiji Inafune's fictional etc. It boasts fourteen endings and a wide selection of hunky dudes for you to date, but it's not all making eyes and riding the Tunnel of Love. You also need to solve puzzles or the dastardly Count Hogstein will blow the park sky-high and kill all the hostages/love interests.

Check the website and watch this trailer, but neither will help you make much sense of all this:
