Polytron has 'other stuff on the way' in spite of Fez 2 cancellation

While Phil Fish may be the most outspoken and visible part of Fez developer Polytron, the studio has other people that work there--all of whom were taken aback by Fish's sudden decision to cancel Fez 2. Polytron producer Marie-Christine Bourdua learned about the cancellation the same way that the rest of us did reading about it on the internet.

"But it's okay," Bourdua said. "It was weird and special to learn it that way, but I respect and trust Phil a lot, so that's totally fair that he decided that and he has his reasons."

Although Bourdua admits that she is still "kind of in shock" over the situation, she told Joystiq that the future of the studio is not in jeopardy. Linux and Mac ports of Fez are in the works, and "there's other stuff on the way, too" and that Polytron is currently "working with Sony."

"Announcements are going to come really, really soon," she said, without confirming a seemingly-inevitable PS3 and Vita port.
