Neil Gaiman's first video game: Wayward Manor

Neil Gaiman has made his mark in the realm of books (The Sandman), movies (Coraline), and television (Doctor Who). So, what's next? Video games, of course. Wayward Manor is being penned by Gaiman, and will be developed by The Odd Gentlemen (The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom) for PC and Mac. A tablet version is also in the works.

Wayward Manor will be set in a 1920's Victorian Gothic estate and will center around a ghost seeking to rest in peace. Unfortunately, the manor is invaded by some unwelcome visitors, leaving the ghost to try and scare them off. The game's central mechanic will involve finding new and creative ways to scare the visitors off.

The game is available for pre-order now and is set to release this fall.
