Rayman Legends is coming to PC after all, Ubisoft announced today. It will hit store shelves and digital marketplaces on September 3, alongside the PlayStation 3, Vita, Wii U, and Xbox 360 versions.

Pre-ordering through the Ubisoft Store will net you the original Rayman Origins as a bonus. However, Legends also includes 40 remastered levels from Origins as well, so it's a bit of a moot bonus. Still, you can always compare and contrast.

Although Legends started as a Wii U exclusive, the company believed wouldn't sell enough on Nintendo's console alone. Since then, the publisher has expanded the game to pretty much every capable platform. Now that it's on five times the platforms as originally planned, Ubisoft probably feels a little more secure about sales.

I'm guessing Ubisoft announced it, without actually updating their store. Just wait a little bit.

Cool. 1152p Rayman here I come.

Wish there was a discount for buying multiple versions. I see myself picking it up on Vita as well.
