Like asphalt after a rainstorm, Worms have been everywhere over the last few months. Since February, Team17 has brought the annelids to Facebook, announced a Clan Wars for PC, and Worms 3 for iOS devices. It's the Vita's turn now, with Worms Revolution Extreme due in Q3 of this year.

This version is based on last year's console release. The PlayStation.Blog notes that it features 47 missions and 25 puzzles, with local and online multiplayer for up to three other worm-killers.

The Vita will get touch-screen features, and cross-platform saves with the already-released PS3 version. The Vita and PS3 versions will also include a new Treasure Mode that lets you send and receive gifts using a lock-and-key system.
