Well its not quite RA3, but the RA3 soundtrack has been released. I had offered to mirror the files but it looks like PQ ignored me so sorry guys. Hopefully this list of mirrors should work for ya. I dont ever listen to music when playing so cant really tell you guys if its good or not. It's something to goof around with though.

The client download being released tomorrow has lower-bitrate versions of 5 soundtrack songs for those that don't have the bandwidth or time to download the whole soundtrack, but the hi-bitrate versions are recommended for the best experience. The download file (ra3soundtrack.exe) is a self-extracting ZIP file.

  • I hate how if I want to get a cable modem then it is like $40 a month IF I have cable TV. If not, then it's like $55 a month.

    Same with DSL.

$40 a month IF I have phone service through them. $50 or more if I just want the DSL line and no stinking telephone for people to be calling me on.

I hate how these 3rd party ISP services offer DSL. They just give you the same service the phone company offers AND they tack on an extra $20 - $30 a month.

Who in their right mind would get DSL service through anyone BUT their phone company? I sure would'nt.

From my past experiance from back when I was using a 56k modem bacause DSL and Cable were'nt here yet, was that these local ISP's did'nt know what the hell they were doing. They'd just get the service to run and be through with it. Would run like crap too.

ISDN was a joke back then and it still is. I don't mind paying the monthly fee just like for DSL or cable. But you can't just pay the monthly fee. You have to pay this ludicrous "line charge" in addition to your monthly fee that makes your monthly bill almost $100 a month just for a measly 64k connection. Why does it cost money just to have your line digital instead of analog?

If they would have dropped the line charge, then I think ISDN would have caught on and many, many more of us would have used ISDN instead of dial up in the Quake1 days.
