It's that time of year again, when digital retailers slash prices and you catch up on missed games--or more realistically, when you collect more games than you could ever actually play. To that end, Valve has kicked off its Steam Summer Getaway sale, offering a slew of games on the cheap through July 22.

As usual, the deals are split up into categories: Daily Deals, flash sales, a community choice option, and regular sales. Steam has tweeted that the site is under heavy load right now, but assures us top men are on it.

Today's Daily Deals include BioShock Infinite for $29.99, Defiance for $13.59, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger for $10.04, and Scribblenauts Unlimited for $4.99. BioShock Infinite now has trading cards, for you collectors.

The flash sales, which refresh every eight hours, include The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for $20.99, CS:GO for $5.09, and Grid 2 for $29.99, and Dragon Age Origins Ultimate for $8.99. Those ones will be gone by the end of the day, so snatch them up if you want them.

The community choice voting will end at the same time, at which point you can get Dishonored for $10.20, Borderlands 2 for $10.20, or Far Cry 3 for $24.

These come alongside the big list of sales without time limits or voting restrictions, which include games like Half-Life 2 Complete, Burnout Paradise, Civ V Gold Edition, and more.

Meanwhile, a special promotion offers special "Summer Getaway" cards and a badge. You can get a card for every $10 you spend, by voting in the flash sales, crafting game badges, or trading in the community market. If you collect all 10 cards, you can craft a Summer Getaway badge for your profile.
