Yeah! And it wasn't all that hard tbh. Mainly because of pyromancy not being dependent on stats. You can make a fully upgraded pyromancer at SL1 and that extra firepower (heh) really helps mitigate the weaknesses your character will have in other areas like vitality and endurance.
Of course when I say it wasn't that hard that's relative :) But Dark Souls is such a well designed game that a player with skill and an upgraded weapon can beat it handily whether or not they have any other stats upgraded.
