Additional Deus Ex Demo Mission

Even though it was supposed to be released on Daily Radar tonight, Eidos has already released the additional Deus Ex demo mission. You can get it from the Eidos FTP, 3D Action Gamers or 3D Downloads - it's 32.7mb. You will need the original 140mb demo so this isn't very dial-up friendly, but if you haven't tried Deus Ex before or didn't get enough of a feeling for the game you can now try an additional mission.

  • Also, remember that this game, even though it is from Ion Storm... it has not been touched my The Romero or his skank SlutCreek. Besides the D3D performance problems, the game is awesome! My cheap self was lucky, sense I still own and use my VoodooII 12MB Monster 3D. Sad yes, but Deus Ex runs really good on glide cards, so I lucked out.

Regardless, even if you own a non-glide card, I recommend getting the game. There is so much to this frickin game its un-mutha-fuqin-beeleavable! Do not pass this game up.

Daikatana on the other hand deserves to be spit on.

  • I have the game and I would have to say after the you go through the second mission you really do start to get sucked in. I would recommend this game fully to anyone, ( except maybe hardcore quake rocket launcher fans. heh ) this game is just the coolest thing I have played since half-life. the AI could use just a little more work, although they do get harder to hit in the later levels. Those of you looking to get in the front door and cant seem to do it, look for another way to get in. There are about 3 that I know of that are a hell of alot easier.
