DriveClub for PlayStation Plus to include all features, but limited content

What's included in the PlayStation Plus version of DriveClub?

4

One of the first games to join PlayStation Plus' Instant Game Collection for PS4 is DriveClub. However, Plus subscribers won't get the full game. Instead, they're getting a restricted version of the game--essentially the "Prologue" version.

"The main difference between them is the amount of content," Evolution senior designer Ben Gouldstone told Shacknews. However, while Gouldstone wouldn't elaborate on what content would be restricted, he did indicate that owners of the PS+ edition of DriveClub would have full access to all of the game's features.

"The idea behind this is, you've got PS Plus, you get your PS4 and you've got DriveClub, day and date, with the full feature set. You can do asynchronous races, synchronous races, you can do offline races. You can start creating your clubs, race with your friends, and start building your community."

So while you may not get every one of DriveClub's fancy cars with the PS+ version, it appears that you will still be able to enjoy the full essence of DriveClub.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
