I'm at about 70 hours and I think I'm wrapping up the main storyline.

I'm just getting started on it. I'm only about 6 hours in and really haven't done anything yet.

Hey, maybe I can ask you a question. What do you do with all the random crap you find laying around and in battles. Should I just be selling that stuff or should I save it for crafting or something?

Just hold on to it until you need money or run out of inventory space. A lot of the items are used for fetch quests and some of them are retardedly rare and you don't want to have to spend years to find them. Looking at you, Ice Cabbage.

Also, some of them can be used to improve affinity between characters. On the inventory screen, you can "gift" characters certain items. The change is not always positive and depends on the item and character. Getting affinity through combat is much more efficient in my opinion, though.

Thanks. I'll hold onto it for now. I did give one random piece to somebody for the hell of it, and it seemed to make them happy.

Friggin' hell. I really wish this would come out on something else. I will buy this game when it comes out in hopes that I can get a super cheap Wii U at some point down the road to play it. I'm not going spend two months trying to track down a copy this time like I did for Xenoblade.

Actually, I should probably buy 4 copies and hold them for a few years and sell them for $120 each like people are doing with Xenoblade now.

Nintendo owns Monolith Soft now. It is truly the biggest crime in video games. :(

Well they seem to be getting the funding and support they need to be making better games than they ever did with Namco, so whatever.

          Crime?
          AHA! Hell no.
The biggest crimes in video games are Microsoft obtaining Rare's IP's and subsequently shatting all over them, and their insistence that "Big Brother" is the future of video games with their XBone.

No, Monolith Soft is in GOOD HANDS with Nintendo. You cannot deny that the Wii U NEEDS games like this, at any rate, if it plans on attracting more people outside of its first-party-game-lovers.

I knew it wasn't gonna be related to X: Their Destiny Was Foreordained http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0184041/ (also known as X/1999) but I checked anyway, just to be sure.
