Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze announced for Wii U

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is Retro's next game for Nintendo, and it's launching in November.

Today during its E3 2013 presentation, Nintendo debuted a new Donkey Kong Country game. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is the next project from Retro Studios. It will let you play as Diddy and Dixie Kong, and revolves around Vikings invading DK's island. It will launch this November.

            I haven't tried it yet, because for some reason Nintendo didn't bother to ship demo units that can actually play games to Target. The demo units only let you watch a handful of gameplay videos. Lame.

              This is true of some Targets, not all. I've seen playable units at some locations.

      The Wii one was great fun, but I'd kill for something new and as unexpectedly amazing as Metroid Prime instead.

      Oh geez, it's another retro-made dkc title.

      Their take on dkc is just missing that oldschool rare magic. Could be the 3D graphics, or the art, or the stage design, or the music, or the feel of the characters, or the...

      It's okay but just not as good as the original dkc series.

        Did you see the video? It looks good! I can't say if it's oldschool rare magic but it made me eager for it's release and i'm not a fan of platformers.
