Pokemon X/Y coming October 12

Pokemon X/Y has been given an official release date and will arrive on 3DS on October 12.

Nintendo Direct debuted with a look at the upcoming Pokemon X and Y. The first official 3DS entry in the Pokemon series has been given an official release date of October 12.

The footage showed Fairy-type Pokemon in action, formally adding a new Pokemon type to the series for the first time since Gold/Silver. X & Y are also set to add a new feature called Pokemon-Aime, which allows you to virtually play with your Pokemon, the way you would a pet.
