As previously announced, Crytek's long-in-development action game, Ryse: Son of Rome, is exclusive to Xbox One. Powered by the latest version of their CryEngine, the debut Xbox One trailer impressed audiences at Microsoft's E3 press conference--even if the gameplay seemed a bit too reliant on QTEs.
The game stars Marius Titus, a soldier in the Roman army who "must embark on a brutal journey to defend the Empire's honor and seek revenge for the murder of his family." God of War much? Although the game was originally meant to be a Kinect title, the demo shows mostly controller-based gameplay that will somehow work "in conjunction with Kinect."
