If you are planning to purchase a World War 2 FPS in the near future, Sega wants you to hold of for a bit and check out the strategic Company of Heroes 2 first so you can refine your battlefield skills "by foot, by vehicle and by air."

A new trailer for the game gets an overview of battle from above the war fronts, showing ground, armor and aircraft all playing a part in decimating the enemy. Granted, it seems a bit odd for a video to mention a genre other than its own, but hey, if you like war and like shooting things, its all the same, right?

Company of Heroes 2 is coming to PC on June 25.

I didn't find the beta to be enjoyable at all, and the winter storms didn't really add much I found.

At the other end of the spectrum, I enjoyed this beta so much that I was sad when it ended! I'm excited for the game to release now.

At first, I found the weather gimmicky and unappealing, but once I understood it and began to use it I thought it added an interesting layer of depth. I also liked smashing holes in the river ice for tactical advantage. Overall, while not a feature to buy the game for, I enjoyed the dynamic elements.

To each their own! :) Why didn't you like it?

I've heard great things about the beta and the weather stuff as well as the campaign. Looking forward to this one.
