Rayman Legends Vita version confirmed

Rayman Legends will be getting a Vita version, Ubisoft has announced.

Following a rumor last month, Ubisoft has confirmed Rayman Legends will be coming to Vita. The handheld version will be coming alongside the console versions on September 3, and pack a few exclusive extras to boot.

The announcement noted that the Vita version includes five exclusive maps in which you play as the bottle fly Murphy, controlled with the rear touch pad. Exclusive skins include a Prince of Persia skin for Rayman, and a Splinter Cell spy skin for Globox. These join the various (and confusing) costumes available as pre-order bonuses. Finally, like the console versions, it will include full co-op multiplayer and online leaderboards.

Confirmed for four consoles, safe to say this will net enough sales to continue the series.

It would be nice to go ahead and get confirmation for a PC release, I hate when they make us wait for no good reason.

The last thing we need is a third new-Rayman to distract Michel Ancel from working on Beyond Good & Evil 2.

I mean these games are great and all, but come on.
