Uber Entertainment's Kickstarter real-time strategy game is preparing for a test launch. The studio has announced that Planetary Annihilation will begin its Alpha roll-out for crowdfunding backers around June 7.

The update also outlines its overall launch plans. After the "Early Access Alpha" starts, it will run through the end of August. That will give those users a nice long hunk of time. A Beta will begin in September and run through November. Then the full game is planned to launch in December.

The team says it is "very happy with the speed we’re moving at," and this time window makes good on its earlier promise to start rolling out backer rewards by July.
