Warhammer Quest, an iOS game based on the 1995 tabletop game, is set to hit the App Store May 30 for $4.99.

Warhammer is getting a little more representation on the App Store next week. "Warhammer Quest" is set to hit on May 30 for $4.99, based on the 1995 tabletop game that was itself a spin-off from the standard Warhammer.

Eurogamer reports that it's a universal app and supports cloud saves, so you'll be able to swap between playing on your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. The dungeon-crawler is coming from Rodeo Games, the studio behind the Hunters series of games, and it will run on the same engine. You can check out an off-screen walkthrough below.

      Looks pretty good but part of me thinks why didn't they just mirror the boardgame exactly, exact rules, cards, characters etc.

      I like Talisman on the iPad because it is almost a mirror of the board game version.
