SOCOM and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City developer Slant Six Games was reportedly working on a Medal of Honor game for the PlayStation Vita. Artist Alex Carigi, who worked at Slant Six between 2006 and 2009, has shown character design work for the title featuring soldier designs.

Carigi's portfolio (via Polygon) had concept art that showed the Slant Six and Vita logos, but that appears to have been removed. No word was given on why the project didn't move ahead, and it could merely be a pitch that was never adopted. We do know that sluggish sales for the Vita have made some publishers wary, however.

EA has taken the Medal of Honor series out of rotation after the poor reception to Warfighter.
