Deep Silver and Rubicon Organization have announced Narco Terror, a downloadable twin-stick shooter coming to PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this summer. It centers around Rick Quinn, an ex-special ops agent, as he plows through a drug cartel that kidnapped his daughter.

The announcement promises various ammo types like explosive rounds and tesla coils, and an extensive character progression and upgrade system. You'll also take to aircraft to break through enemy lines of tanks and helicopters. It adds a pinch of variety with 2D side-scrolling and top-down vertical stages as well. Finally, even though Quinn is meant to be a one-man army, Narco Terror puts a distinct focus on local and online co-op.

Rubicon and Deep Silver announced a partnership last year. This is the first game from that deal.

Sweet, wheres the WiiU version. Or is this game in the bleeding edge of future tech, that no machine on Earth can play other than Xbox and PS3?
