Among the Sleep scares up alpha demo
by Alice O'Connor, May 15, 2013 11:00am PDTHaving played Among the Sleep, I can confidently say I'll never choose to be a baby. It is awful. Scary things happen and I don't know why and I can't even reach door handles. I will play one in a video game, though. As the end of its crowdfunding campaign nears, developer Krillbite has released a demo from an early alpha build of the first-person scarer to lure in more backers.
The demo contains a short slice from the start of the game, so it's mostly a tone-setting ghost train ride. Or monster train. Or whatever that thing I'm hiding from is. Head on over here to download it for PC, Mac or Linux.
With three days left to go, Krillbite's Kickstarter is just past the $200,000 goal it was aiming for. Pledging at least $20 will get you a copy of the finished game, expected to arrive in December.
