PlayStation Store highlights indie games
by Steve Watts, May 07, 2013 12:45pm PDTThe PlayStation Store will add a dedicated indie section to its interface when it updates later today, to promote its streak of unique (and usually exclusive) independent efforts, such as Journey and The Unfinished Swan. The new section will rotate highlighted games, and it's kicking off with a few discounts on recent indie games.
The PlayStation Blog lists Retro City Rampage for 50% off, and a Papo & Yo game and soundtrack bundle for 40% off, or 55% for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Both deals last until May 21. Zombie Tycoon 2 is still free for PlayStation Plus subscribers for a limited time, as part of Sony's indie-centric Spring Fever promotion.
