by Steve Watts, May 07, 2013 11:05am PDTGuild Wars 2's next update, The Secret of Southsun, is coming on May 14. The new content has you investigating disturbances at The Consortium. The Molten Alliance has driven out refugees, but the new settlers are unhappy and local wildlife has been particularly aggressive, so it's up to you to find out why.
An overview on the official site outlines the new features. Aside from the story revolving around solving the mystery of this new area, you'll also be able to play a new crab toss mini-game, and purchase traps. The Traps and Tricks Outfitters in World vs World maps will start with anti-stealth fields and traps that remove supplies from your enemy players, but ArenaNet says it has more plans for other traps in the months ahead.
