Footage from Free Radical's cancelled game Star Wars: Battlefront 3 continues to surface. This time, more pre-alpha gameplay appeared on Twitch over the weekend in a "May the Fourth be with you" celebration.

Past to Present Online has since archived the gameplay (via Kotaku), which lasted more than an hour. You can see it below.

Footage of the game also leaked last year, showing another hour of the game, which was supposedly nearly complete when it was canned.

This looks much more polished than the other leaked footage. Yet another brick in the wall of sadness/disappointment regarding this game. LucasArts missed out on a huge opportunity here and it's a shame that the folks responsible likely were not canned (wouldn't be surprised if they were promoted instead). =(

Why do they keep showing this shit if it's not coming out?

Because there's no reason not to show how cool this game would very likely have been. That's why it was leaked, publishers would rather not admit their mistakes.
