Snoop Dogg's original rhythm-combat game Way of the Dogg is available today on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). (The game is inspired before Snoop went on his Jamaican vision-quest and started calling himself Snoop Lion, of course.) Publisher 505 Games also noted that it will be coming soon to PlayStation Network and mobile platforms as well.

The game follows street fighter America Jones, who goes on a face-punching rampage after his girlfriend, Sierra, is kidnapped. He trains under Master Snoop to learn the "Way of the Dogg" to gain the necessary 70s kung fu action skills to win her back. The combat is matched to Snoop's own songs, like Who am I (What's my Name), Gz and Hustlas, From That Chuuch to da Palace, and Pump Pump.

"I've always dug old school Kung Fu movies," Snoop Dogg said, in the press release. "Growing up in the hood, me and the homies used to hit the Palace Theater in Long Beach to watch the double feature Kung Fu flicks and come out of the theater play fighting each other, making those old school sound effects. I wanted Way of the Dogg to pay tribute to that feeling and bring that same excitement, fused with my music, to the game."
