Elder Scrolls Online trailer hunts for the player's soul

The Elder Scrolls Online was a bit more impressive the last time we saw it. We found out that the player loses his soul at the beginning of the game, and then spends the game trying to figure out why as he quests through Tamriel. A new trailer shows off a new area that is integral to the missing soul angle of the game.

The video reveals the realm of Coldharbour in Oblivion, a place where the player will eventually go to find out why his soul is so important to Molag Bal's plans. Lead Loremaster Lawrence Schick and lead writer Wynne McLaughlin offer commentary on the area and how it plays into the sotry. There is no game play, but it shows off the eeriness of the realm, which is good because it is Oblivion after all.

Probably smart of Molag Bal to get ahead of the curve. By the time I finished Skyrim I owed my soul to just about every Daedric Lord. Not that it mattered, since I was also an immortal vampire. Werewolf. Dragon?
