Monaco delayed on Xbox 360, PC version still on-track
by Andrew Yoon, Apr 23, 2013 4:15pm PDTMonaco, Pocketwatch's IGF-winning heist game, was supposed to land on PC and Xbox 360 tomorrow. However, a last-minute hiccup in the console version has delayed its release. Fret not, as the PC version is unaffected.
"We just discovered that there is an issue which requires that we push back our Xbox Live Arcade game release date a little," the dev posted on Facebook. "We've already submitted an update to Microsoft to fix the problem, and as soon as we know that the issue is fixed we'll have a new release date. I know our fans have been waiting a long time for the game, and hopefully they'll have the patience to wait just a little while longer. What's mine will be yours very, very soon!"
It's been three years since the game won the IGF Grand Prize--so what's a few more weeks of waiting, right? Our review will be unaffected by the delay, as our own Ozzie Mejia was keen to point out. You can expect it later this week.
