Dragon's Crown coming to PS3 and Vita August 6
by Steve Watts, Apr 23, 2013 3:30pm PDTDragon's Crown is coming on August 6, publisher Atlus and developer Vanillaware announced today. The four-player co-op game will be coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita simultaneously, both equipped to show off Vanillaware's signature 2D art style.
The PlayStation.Blog revealed the date, along with word that the team is currently working on cross-save capabilities. However, each platform can only play with its own kind. Atlus' John Hardin explained that "it's not as simple as just ticking an 'Enable Crossplay' box and having it in the game, or else we totally would have. There were some technical barriers on the dev side that made cross-play impossible."
And, as previously reported, the game will cost $39.99 on Vita and $49.99 on PlayStation 3, with no cross-buy.
